Moses Toth - Songwriting Lessons

“Forever With You” was written for my new Wedding Site.  Pop Artist, Chelsi Vanderpol offered such a lovely performance on this one.  What a gift to work with someone who emotes so romantique.  And to all you happy lovers out there: “Entre deux coeurs qui s’aiment, nul besoin de paroles” - Desbordes-Valmore

Love writing ANYTHING romantic and the song, “SARAH”, for Corey and Sarah Gonzalez, was no exception.  This was an after hours project produced at S1, Corey’s studio in Orange County, a couple weeks ago.  It’ll be added to the catalog of wedding originals Corey and I are making available through our wedding music site in the Spring of 2011.  I think we finished around 3a. This one took so much out of me, it moved me soooooooo much… I’m still tired:)

Loved writing the pop song “411” with singer/model Sage Humphries, with producer Corey Gonzalez at S1 Music Services.  I came in to do her vocal arranging and Corey says, “We need a bridge!”  20 minutes later I had a bridge for her.  Gotta be ready to write at all times:)  She’s much more talented than I was at her age…  seriously.  Can’t wait to continue working with her when she returns from NY in August!

Singer/Model, Jordan Hall has been one of my favorites to work with.  As his songwriting coach I’ve seen him mature from timid to bold at a surprisingly quick pace.  And what a voice!  What a privilege to work with someone with so much talent.

Fresh, new AC Artist, Courtney Lloyd, has requested recording a song called, “Fall For Me”, I co-wrote with Pop Artist/Actress Chantelle Barry.  It’s gonna be a lot of fun workin’ with Courtney.  And what a thrill to have “collab’d” with Chantelle.  What an amazing writer and performer she is.  This’ll be a great marriage of talents.

Talkin’ with my good friend, Richard Harris, ’bout doin’ some songwriting  this summer. Love his music, particularly his work with American Idol alum, Katharine McPhee.  And it seems I can’t turn the telly on without hearin’ this Brittish bloke’s masterful tunes.  I’m a big fan!

Producing another single for Indie artist, Sara Noelle, with producer Corey Gonzalez at S1 Studios today.  I’ve been her songwriting coach for nearly a year now, I think.  What an amazing vocalist and songwriter!  She’s headed to NY in a couple months to further her music career.  She’s gonna make it… I can feel it.
